Excel how to copy formula down?
Enter your formula in the first cell.
Click on the cell with the formula so it's selected.
Move your cursor to the lower right corner of the cell until it turns into a black plus sign (this is known as the fill handle).
Click and drag the fill handle down the column to the last cell you want to fill with the formula. The formula will be copied into all the cells you select and Excel will automatically adjust the formula for each row.
Release the mouse button to paste the formula into the selected cells.
Remember, Excel uses relative references by default when you're copying formulas. This means that if your formula refers to cell A1 and you copy it down to the next row, the formula will automatically adjust to refer to A2. If you want to keep the reference to A1, you should make it an absolute reference by adding dollar signs (e.g., $A$1).
